The 2011 festival will be held Friday through Sunday, July 8-10, 2011.

Please note that Blue Sky Music attendees will not be allowed inside festival grounds before the gates open on Friday and Saturday. Please do not leave your chairs or blankets overnight at the site as they will be removed. For more details, check the Event Schedule page.

Where is the festival held?
The Festival is held at the Blue Sky Bowl, adjacent to Cerro Coso College in Mammoth Lakes, CA, 100 College Parkway at Meridian Blvd. Daytime activities are held at Edison Hall and designated locations through out Mammoth Lakes. Mammoth Blue Sky Music Fest is an outdoor venue; therefore, we encourage you to bring your own low-back beach chairs or blankets. As a courtesy to your neighbors, no high-back chairs, umbrellas or pop-up tents that block everyone's view of the stage will be allowed. No chairs or blankets will be allowed for setup inside the venue prior to 5:00 pm Friday and 2:00pm Saturday. If found, they will be removed and located outside the gate.

Are kids free for the Blue Sky Fest?
Children 10 and under are free with a paid adult. Ages 11+ must purchase a ticket.

When do the Festival tickets go on sale?
Tickets on sale April 15, 2011. Please note: Tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the gate, and must be visible at all times during the evening music shows. Get Tickets!

Which ticket should I buy?
We offer a variety of ticket types and prices; choose the option that works best for you! If you are planning on attending both days, the Two (2)-day Blue Sky Party Package ticket is your best buy which includes the Beermaker’s Ball (includes food and beer tasting from Mammoth Brewing Company) and music both days. Single day tickets also are available.
The Blue Sky Fest also offers ticket options, including the Blue Sky Benefit, with all proceeds benefiting education and arts in Mammoth Lakes. For those ticket options, click here.
In addition to the Blue Sky Food & Wine Experience, and Beermaker’s Ball, beer and wine can be purchased ala carte at the Festival, and of course, purchasers must be 21 years of age. Original IDs are required (no photocopies accepted) and will be checked. You are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages into the Festival.

Where is Will Call? Where is the Box Office?
Will Call and the Box Office are located at the main entrance of the Blue Sky Bowl, adjacent to the Mammoth Campus of Cerro Coso College, 100 College Parkway at Meridian Boulevard.
When you arrive at the site, please take a moment to consider your options for entry to the Festival. If you are already holding your tickets, you may proceed directly to the check-in area (tent to the right of the entrance) for wrist banding. If you have to pickup tickets at Will Call or buy tickets, proceed to the appropriately signed window at the Box Office Tent. Blue Sky Fest Map

When do you announce the performers?
We announce the performers when the line-up is complete, no later than April 22, 2011.

When are the Blue Sky Music Concerts?
Friday’s Beermaker’s Ball & Bluegrass is from 6:00pm-9:15pm.
Saturday’s Wine ‘n World Music Party is from 3:00pm-10:00pm.

Is there camping nearby?

Where should I park?
At Blue Sky, we prefer you walk, bike or take the shuttle and leave your car at home or at your hotel. The festival is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Car parking is located in the designated parking lot, adjacent to Cerro Coso College, off College Parkway, and across Meridian Blvd. at Mammoth Middle School. (Suggested parking donation to local schools, $10.00)

Should I bring my own chairs?
Yes! For the music festival portion of the event, please bring blankets or low-back beach chairs. As a courtesy to your neighbors, chairs must be low-back beach style chairs. Please no high-back chairs, umbrellas, or pop-up tents that block the view of the stage.

Can I bring my pet to the festival?
NO PETS are allowed on festival grounds. Please do not leave your pet in your car, or tied up outside of the festival. If you are traveling with your pet, please contact the local pet service to arrange day sitting or a boarding service. Can I bring food into the festival?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food, however NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC beverages. We also have a Food Court with vendors boasting a hearty, healthy variety of food. Wine and beer also are available for purchase located on the festival site.

Can I smoke?
The Festival promotes a smoke-free environment. If you must, there is one designated smoking area.

Can I exit the event once I enter?
Yes. Once you receive your wristband, you may enter and exit the event as you please.

What is provided on festival grounds?
During the daytime events, the Festival provides a variety of outdoor adventure activities, food and wine seminars at Edison Theater, silent and live auctions, food and wine tastings, beer tasting, and music. View Event Schedule.

What should I bring?
A current Photo I.D including your birth date (no photo copies accepted); low-back sand chairs; a blanket; and warm clothes for the evening concerts. Mammoth's summer weather is perfect but high elevation sun can be intense. Apply sunscreen, wear a hat, and sunglasses.

What NOT to bring?
There is no glass, pets, alcohol, professional photo or video recording equipment, or Frisbees allowed on the festival grounds. Alcohol (beer and wine) will be available for purchase.

Can I record a performance?
No audio or video recording is permitted.

Is there Handicap Parking?
Yes, in the designated parking lot off College Parkway adjacent to the Mammoth Campus of Cerro Coso College. The Blue Sky Food & Wine Experience is located on a hard surface. However, keep in mind that Blue Sky Music Fest, located in the Blue Sky Bowl, is covered in soft wood chips where it may be difficult to maneuver a wheel chair, or crutches. This is an outside event, and the ground may be uneven. Please contact the Festival if you have any questions or if we can be of assistance.
